We have just witnessed a good hip-hop clutch situation by Pennsylvania’s own, Meek Mill, who went “from nightmare to dream and from jail to courtside” in one day. Meek was unjustly sentenced for violating his protection. With everything on the line, he fought his way out of jail and got picked up the Philadelphia 76ers’ owner himself. Meek made it from prison to courtside just to watch see how the process has been working for the 76ers, led by rookie superstar Bin Simmons and one of the game’s best big man,  Joel Embiid. Last night, the 76ers ran over the Miami Heat and move on to the next series. Many Hip-hop celebrities, including Jay-Z and T.I were happy and celebrated the release of Dream Chaser Meek yesterday.

Meek  came out looking choubby like he was eating good while in jails. To express his gratitude to his supporters, he posted the following message on his Instagram personal account.

“I’d like to thank God, my family, my friends, my attorneys, my team at Roc Nation including JAY-Z, Desiree Perez, my good friend Michael Rubin, my fans, The Pennsylvania Supreme Court and all my public advocates for their love, support and encouragement during this difficult time.” “While the past five months have been a nightmare, the prayers, visits, calls, letters and rallies have helped me stay positive.” To the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office, I’m grateful for your commitment to justice – not only for my case, but for others that have been wrongfully jailed due to police misconduct. Although I’m blessed to have the resources to fight this unjust situation, I understand that many people of color across the country don’t have that luxury and I plan to use my platform to shine a light on those issues. In the meantime, I plan to work closely with my legal team to overturn this unwarranted conviction and look forward to reuniting with my family and resuming my music career.” #meekmill #rocnation #hiphop

The 76ers have finally arrived. The process is finally working. Bin Simmons is the prince, who presumably soon to be the king of the East. Him and co-superstar Joel Embiid just eliminated the Miami Heat, knocked them out in just 5 games, putting the whole basketball world on notice. Meek  witnessed his home team Philly that had not won a basketball series in years beat a well-balanced and well-coached Miami Heat team in a fashion in which made ESPN’s analyst Stephen A. Smith pick them to come out of the East.

Meek’s last album, Wins and Losses, which was released not long before  he was jailed was a solid body of work. Being in jail, he could not tour the album. His fans will now have the opportunities  to see him perform in a their city in the near future. We also expect new music from the Roc Nation MC. Meek has had his share of adversities and setbacks during his music career, but he has managed to make it out and survive every time like Rocky. He’s a definition of someone who’s truly blessed. He is clearly one of the reasons Philly is the most buzzing city currently. We will wait to see if the  76ers can follow the Eagles footsteps and win another championship for the state of Pennsylvania.
